Connie`s Ice Cream Parlor in Dahlonega

My wife and I visited on 4/29 for a quick nibble. The blueberry ice cream was very good. The chocolate malt was extremely tasty.

The burgers were amazing! I will totally come back and recommend it to other people.

I got a bacon cheeseburger from Connie's. The burger was delicious. I've also had their sandwiches in the past. The service wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. They also have good ice cream as well. Good food and good atmosphere.

Connie’s has the best food, it is made with love and kindness and always has the best employees. Nick is the best one I think, but he has his off days, but overall is a power house.

The service was amazing and the employees are super nice and the theme of the restaurant is so cute and old time like. The food was unbelievable as well.

Really cool ice cream and sandwich shop. The split in banana split here does not necessarily refer to the split banana, but rather the need to split it between at least 2-3 people. We almost always stop by here when we come through Dahlonega.

One of the filthiest establishments I've visited in Dahlonega. Broken and rusty chairs, cracked counters, discusting high chairs, AC not working. Tasteless ice cream. Shame on you! Board of health must turn a blind eye here.

They make great sandwiches and serve good ice cream. A chocolate shop or two are around the corner. Tip jars are set up for college student employee tuitions. Nice. What else you want? Go there already.

A good variety of flavors to choose from. Friendly staff. Okay ice cream; would prefer a smoother texture (as compared to some of the best ice creams available).

Good food but the service is extremely slow. Also, there was a sign on the door to "try our hot chocolate". I ordered it but never received it and was told the water would take a while to heat up. When I finally inquired about it, the water still wasn't ready. Why advertise it on the front door if you aren't prepared to serve it. Very disappointing.

This is the spot to visit in downtown Dahlonega. Old-timr diner ambiance and great flavors to keep you cool and satisfied on a hot day!

The best ice cream in Dahlonega, hands down.

Great little ice cream shop on the downtown Dahlonega town square. Big selection of flavors and space inside ro sit and eat it just step outside and enjoy out on the numerous benches around the square.

Connie's is a superb place for sandwiches and icecream. I live here and go all the time. love their paninis and even when I venture to try something other than my beloved southwestern panini they never disappoint. Blueberry cream pie is my favorite ice cream flavor they've had. Make sure you come here when you visit dahlonega.

A great place to go if you want ice cream or a quick lunch. They have a nice variety of sandwiches. I’ve had their patty melt and my friend had the buffalo chicken panini. Both were delicious. If you’re in town and want something tasty, whether it’s a bite for lunch or an ice cream cone, you can’t go wrong here.

This place is my go-to spot for an afternoon treat or quick and delicious dessert. Reasonably priced ice cream paired with efficient service combine for a satisfying experience with each successive visit. The moose tracks and blueberry pie ice cream flavors are especially tasty. There is also a good menu of lunch options, including sandwiches, hotdogs, and other grilled specialties, making Connie’s a good option for a midweek meal or weekend excursion.

Love all of their sandwiches! Kids love their ice cream.

Their lunch is very good, but they stop serving early. Mayfield ice cream all day!

I hate posting things like this about my local businesses, but the quality here has gone down tremendously. The kids running the shop don’t care about customer service or the quality of the food they’re serving. Sandwiches are dry and small for the price. Toppings are minimal and often left off. The sandwich I just ordered had no sauce at all. I could have had twice the food with better quality and taste at Subway for less $$$, and that’s sad.

Thank you Connie's! Not only a perfect stop for ice cream but the thermostat appears to be set at 66 deg. That is double refreshing! One day I have to stop for the real food. Looks like memories of the old lunch counter / soda shops. Very inviting and everyone is very nice.

They have more than ice cream! A little bit of a wait. The burgers are microwaved but the sandwiches are very good!

The ice cream waffle cones are AMAZING! The single scoop waffle cone was more than enough for us to eat. I only wish I took a photo to show how massive the cone was. They offer double scoop cones but I'm wondering where the second scoop fits on the cone 😂

Food was great. Ice cream was world changing haha.

Good place for you to have lunch and ice cream.

Stopped here after visiting one of the nearby wineries with some friends. The line was very long, but I took that as a sign that this was a great place to grab a bite to eat and some ice cream--and it was. I ordered a turkey panini, which was good and filling. I also had a cake batter ice cream milkshake (yeah it was a "what diet?" kinda day), which was yummy. The staff was very polite, and that long line wasn't bad at all because they had everyone in and out in no time. I'll definitely visit again the next time I'm in Dahlonega!
